The 146.910 Repeater Air Log

The MRC 146.910 Repeater averages about 8 hours of use per day. 24 / 7 Computer monitoring of the system started in late Oct. 2002, and allows the Control Ops and Technical Committee to evaluate data on it's use, and produce graphs such as these.

Our "peak usage day" is currently a tie between
September 29 2006 and December 15 2006,
both had 14.25 hours of usage on those days.

The MRC repeater operates on an output frequency of 146.910 MHz, as coordinated by The Wisconsin Association of Repeaters. The Milwaukee .91 Repeater is a integrated system of 5 sites located around SE Wisconsin. 4 of these sites are "Remote Receivers" listening on 146.310Mhz, they simply relay what they hear to the system "Main Site". The "Southeast" site is in Oak Creek, The "East" site is in Downtown Milwaukee. The "Northeast" site is near Cedarburg, The "Northwest" site is Near "Holy Hill", and the "Main Site" of the repeater is in New Berlin.

The construction, support and operation of a Amateur Radio Repeater system is the purpose of our Club. We have worked very hard, and are extremely proud of our system. Over the last few years, the membership has supplied the funds for the technical committee to completely rebuild the entire system using commercial grade Motorola Radios, and all the other parts and pieces needed to create a 1st class repeater system. The final part, a commercial grade Henry 250 watt RF power amp was put on line in Aug. 14th 1999.
