Most testing permits walk-ins; you should arrive early. There is an approximate $15.00 fee for the exam. You must have 2 forms of identification (1 photo ID is required). You will need to provide your FCC Registration Number (FRN) or your social security number. If upgrading, bring your original license and one good photocopy.

The ARRL Kid's Day is being held by the Lakes Area Amateur Radio Club

The LAARC is sponsoring our second annual Kid's Day. This special event is an opportunity to introduce kids and their parents to amateur radio in the 21st century.
Everyone is invited to come to the site and/or check in.

20 meters - 14.285MHz USB, 2 meters - 146.865MHz FM minus offset, 127.3pl that is the LAARC Repeater
