Milwaukee Repeater Club – Public Service Net – Standard Announcements

Sunday August 22 2010 8:00pm - 146.910 MHz – (pl 127.3)

AMATEUR RADIO EXAM SCHEDULE:
Most testing permits walk-ins; you should arrive early.  There is an approximate $15.00 fee for the exam.  You must have 2 forms of identification (1 photo ID is required).  You will need to provide your FCC Registration Number (FRN) or your social security number.  If upgrading, bring your original license and one good photocopy.

1st Saturdays - Racine – Held by the ARRL VE Testing Team of  Racine and Kenosha
            9:00 am. to 11:00 am.
            Faith United Methodist Church 1013 Harmony Drive, Racine
            (Not in: January, July, August)

1st Saturdays – Madison – Sponsored by Four Lakes Amateur Radio Club
            8:00 am. – 10:00am. Space Place 2300 South Park Street, Madison

Fox Hunts – Hidden Transmitter Hunts:
Racine Megacycle Club - Fox Hunt
            Every four weeks on a Friday - the next hunt will be on September 24th
            Starting at 7:30pm until 9:00pm. Start location is set by the fox and is anywhere             in Racine or Kenosha Counties, East of Hwy 45. Check www.w9udu.org for info.

9 PM on Thursdays – the Computer Net – This net is the place to ask questions and solve computer related problems. Other computing topics may also be presented.

9 PM on Saturdays – the Fun Net – This net is for fun and to help amateur operators learn to run a net. The Topic is different each week and is chosen by the Net Control and the Net Manager

8 PM on Sundays –  the Public Service Net – This is the net you are currently listening to. It's the place to air public service events, meetings, announcements and other information of interest to  the Amateur Radio community. Followed by ...

at 9 PM on Sunday – the Swap Net – The Swap Net is the place to buy and sell any Amateur Radio equipment and related computer gear.
